Ode to Cheese

Ode To Cheese,
Which Makes Us Smile,
When Camera's go Clack.
Ode To Cheese,
Which make us taste,
The greatest of flavors, the wackiest of whack.
Ode To Cheese,
Blue, Gorgonzola,
American and Cheddar.
Ode To Cheese,
Beja and Feta,
In all types of weather.
Ode To Cheese,
For those on a diet,
or trying to get fatter.
Ode To Cheese,
with crackers and wine,
with grapes can flatter.
Ode To Cheese,
when you're sad and happy,
Cheese just fits.
Ode To Cheese,
Mountains and Mountains,
or bits and bits.

Ode to the Cheese,
To appreciate,
eat,
and take pictures.

                                                                    Ode to Cheese,
i truly love you

Ode To The Forgotten

Ode to the people who were forgotten
They were once loved and cared for

Ode to their lives
Everyday they hurt
While in desperation for love
and generosity.

Ode to their heart
That was torn apart viciously
With little consideration
Of their inner feelings

Ode to their memories
That bring back happiness
Or to the ones
That are very vague.

Ode to those who have tried
Those who haven't given up
The ones that will keep climbin
For them life hasn't been easy.

Highrise Essay on comparing with David from Alamar

The project highrise "out my window" focuses on the lives of different people and what they can see out their windows. The person i compared and contrasted was David from Cub, his life is interesting and full of spirit for his friends, if you want to find out more, keep reading! :)

When I first saw the inside of David’s apartment, I believe he was living at a pretty nice apartment with an elevator and nice structure of the building. However, as he told his stories about the festivals in Alamar, the largest public-housing project in the world literally means “Wing of the sea”
this happens every year such as the rock festival, rap festival and etc… I began to realize the situation and the lives David is living in. The apartments of Alamar were actually built by prisoners which mean that it is badly constructed and the walls are crooked and there is no space for the water to drain. So, if somebody poops, they have to throw it out of the window. In Alomar, there isn’t much happening. There isn’t anything happening around. People are bored. If there are activities happening, everyone in Alamar takes part in it, watch or comes down because they have nothing to do. From David’s window, you can clearly see the waves clashing into the shores of the ocean and the beautiful strokes the waves are making. “We have a very strong connection to the sea”, David says. David goes to the ocean to pray and be blessed by his god. Yemaya Olkun and walk to the seashores to talk to the sea. Close to David’s home, where he goes to meditate. In the mountains, there is a river which is clean and crystal clear where he relaxes and lets go of himself. He says “I love that it’s close to here”.

David, he is a free spirit. He makes music all day and only do what he loves. He and the people of Alamar might be having trouble because of the authorities stopping the festivals happening every year but, as he said "we never stop" and i hope they don't stop because the people of Alamar are bored and have nothign to do and these great festivals which happens only once a year is one of the fundementall solution to establish happiness and bring smiles and laughs into the appartments of Alamar.

From Daivd's appartment, he can see the beautiful ocean and the great sight of Alamar and i would be relaxed if i saw that amazing sight for real. However the sight i see from my appartment in my room is very different and opposite from David's window. From my window, i see blocks and blocks of appartments and cars almost racing to on the shining roads. I can see my school from here. There aren't probably schools in Alamar. I really wish i can be free and doing what i love as Daivd does everyday. I wish to escape from this complicated and mad society of South Korea and escape to the forests of Alamar with David to meditate and relax in the rivers in the mountain.

When i grow up, i want to become a person who will help these kind of people. Kind of people in Alamar who are having trouble and being unsupported with efiicent needs and basic needs for their lives. I will likely to personally support them with education and a nice school so when the kids grow up with a good education kids will be the light of Alamar and bring up more happiness in Alamar.

Iron man 1 and 2 Movie Review!!

Although I grew up a comic book fan, I was never an Iron Man reader. I knew all the main points about him from the Avengers and various team ups, but I was never really interested in a rich guy with a drinking problem that flew around and fought Commies during the Cold War. Iron Man didn’t have the villains that Batman had, he didn’t have the humor that Spiderman had, or the cool universe that the X-Men lived in. He was mediocre at best.
The comic book movie genre has been like an abused puppy that has taken so much crap, that even the smallest acts of mercy resonate. Many an adapted movie was judged not on whether it was good or not, but rather on how little it sucked. If it wasn’t too terrible, it was graded on a curve, and was generally considered passable- look at 2003’s Daredevil. The movie was terrible in many ways- the acting was ridiculous and the roles were badly cast, the music was awful, and the whole thing felt like execs from MTV were quietly making suggestions on how to make it more “hip”. But it had a good story based on Frank Miller’s excellent run on the comic, so it was ok.
On the other hand you have movies like Joel Schumacher’s Batman and Robin, a movie so bad that it seemed to be a test- a psychological experiment of sorts- to see how far comic book fans could be pushed before they snapped. The character of Batman is a gritty urban warrior, tortured by personal demons that lead him to take justice into his own hands in order to make the world a better place. Schumacher gave him nipples and ice skates and sent him after villains that should have tasted the sweet relief of a sniper bullet in the first 12 seconds of their appearance – and saved us the time. Anyone involved with the decision to add nipples to the bat-suit should never be allowed near another genre movie. Ever. Under penalty of death.
Comic book and genre fans in general are fiercely loyal to the source material. They don’t need Shakespearean depth, they just need a certain level of respect for the material that helped shape them from childhood to the present. Is that so much to ask? Is it really that hard to make a comic book movie and not immediately fall into a series of horrible puns? Yeah, you are called Ghost Rider and your head is on fire- we get it, we don’t need to hear a fire joke inserted into every piece of dialogue. It doesn’t make fans laugh, it just makes them irritated and convinces them that the filmmakers don’t get it. Yeah Sam Raimi, we get that you don’t like Venom, but really- dancing emo Spidey? Really? Just because the material is from comic books does not mean that it should be written for an exclusively 12-year-old audience.
So when a movie- or a series of movies- like Iron Man comes along, we hope for the best, but are prepared for the worst. Perhaps that means that things that might otherwise draw criticism get a pass. The sequel has a few flaws, but overall it is treated with respect, and handled with care by talented filmmakers that seem to really want to do their absolute best- not just for the fans to avoid their ire and milk them for the box office cash, but also to legitimize the story and prove that the genre has as much merit as any.
When the original movie was released, I was cautiously optimistic because of the people involved, but I was prepared for the worst. I left the original movie both impressed and appreciative of the character. The origin story ate up more time than I would have liked, but that was not surprising for an introductory movie. So when the sequel was announced, I expected big things.
For the second movie, I wanted more than the first. I wanted to believe that a dude in an iron suit could fly around, and would inevitably get into some incredible fight where everything nearby exploded, even things that aren’t in any way combustible, like bicycles and trees. As long as the explosion looked good and the story had me interested, physics be damned. I wanted action, I wanted characters I liked, and most of all, I really really hoped that it would not suck and potentially ruin The Avengers.
I am happy to say that I was not disappointed.
Iron Man 2 is a movie that fulfills all the requirements of a Hollywood summer blockbuster sequel. It is flashy, the women are beautiful, the effects are impressive, and stuff blows up real pretty. What sets these movies apart from many others is the level of care the sequel and the original both adhere to. The actors, director, and all involved ground these movies in a sense of realism that keeps the more impossible parts of the movie realistic.
There is a level of class to this story despite the comic book origins, and despite that it is a summer blockbuster movie. There are- just for example- no giant robots with huge metal testicles that clang around and make you wonder how many people were high, and what drugs they were on, when they approved those type of scenes.
First, the good. The quality of the movie remains consistently high. Favreau is a good director that competently works in a mix of effects and live action pieces with just the right amount of character work to keep us engaged and never bored. He also keeps the movie going at a pace that the audience never has to stop and think about plot holes too much (and there are a few, but none are truly major). The special effects are also just as good as you would expect from a sequel with a big budget.
Robert Downey Jr. simply chews up the screen every time he is on it. Mickey Rourke as the villain Ivan Vanko disappears in the role and you quickly forget exactly who it is that you are watching on screen. Sam Rockwell, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, and Samuel L. Jackson all turn in solid performances too. Scarlet Johansson… well, she looks good. Her role is fairly small and under used, so much so that I assume her Black Widow will be back for the Avengers. She does a fine job with what she is given. If there had been any bad acting jobs in this movie, they would have stood out quickly.

The movie is simply fun. Tony Stark is free of the dark and gritty world that Bruce Wayne lives in, and he is not weighed down by the responsibilities that haunt Spiderman. He is a guy in a suit that is a superhero because he loves being a superhero. A new subplot shows Stark wanting to do more for the world and his own legacy, but for the most part, he is a guy in a high tech suit that can do pretty much anything he wants, and he does. Stark has fun being himself, and that is a refreshing twist in the dark and broody world of superheroes.
The biggest issue with this movie is a minor one, but it is one that the original shared. The villains in both movies are somewhat ambiguous in their morality. If you only knew the Tony Stark character from how the world might see him- as an irresponsible, drunken womanizer with the power to level cities at a whim, you might actually be rooting for the bad guys. There is never a scene when you consider the villains to be “eeeeeeevil”. They never stop to kick a puppy or anything that makes the audience eagerly wait for their inevitable ass kicking, and their reasoning for attacking Stark is usually understandable, even if it is not justifiable. It is only through Robert Downey’s performance, and the fact that we know Tony Stark has a heart-of-gold that causes us to root for him. In both movies, the climatic end fight is more of a personal battle between Stark and the villains than a save-the-day affair. That isn’t a big deal, but it makes the victory for the good guys a bit hollow. In both movies the end fight seems a bit rushed as well. Maybe that is just a result of the lack of build up between the hero and the villain, but the final fights were over very quickly, and with a minimum of fuss.
Iron Man will not win over any converts that hate the superhero genre, nor will it steal money from the art house crowd. For everyone else, it is an entertaining two hours and a fun summer blockbuster movie that should keep the momentum going for Thor and Captain America next summer, then the Avengers the summer after. Iron Man 2 is a good movie that does exactly what it sets out to do. The acting is solid, the story is good, and the movie looks great. Buy your popcorn, sit back and enjoy.

Korean Education Speech

Ladies and gentlemen, as a student of a Korean school, I clearly understand the education level and the academic progress of the Korean school system and here to talk about the Korean education philosophy and its problems. Lets first briefly discuss about the history. In 1980, the Korean Ministry of Education implemented several resolutions to make the education fairer and to increase the level of education in Korea for the population of students as a whole. The result was incredible. The rate of high school graduates accepted into colleges and universities in 1980 increased to 1989 rapidly. Approximately, just in the period of nine years, from 403,000 students increased to more than 1.4 million students! The practical education system the Ministry of Education had come up with was to increase the number of "memorization subjects".

This method forced students from Middle School grades to High School grades to mostly memories every single bit of information in the textbook and have mid-term and final-term tests each for 2 separate semesters. Students today mostly spends their time at school and home studying until midnight everyday to revise, memorize, revise, memorize and repeat everyday of their student lives just for the sake of being accepted into exceptional universities or colleges such as the well known S.K.Y. This is an issue in Korean society as well. Big companies such as HYUNDAI, SAMSUNG, LG and others will literally ignore any students who didn't graduate from S.K.Y. This urges students to be more competitive and to study (memories) every night for tests. The technique of how every single Korean teacher educate is also a big matter in this issue. The atmosphere of education is mostly based on the teacher and not the students. The teacher spends all the time in front of the black-board in class just reading the textbook and only emphasizing some important factors which all the students are capable to do which as well takes away the interest of class and number of students to positively participate in class. This also explains why most parents prefer their children studying aboard today. This is the limit of Korea's modern education. This method of memorization has also increased the stress of students. According to the New Economic Foundation (NEF), the happy planet index of South Korea in 1970 to 1979 until the Jung-Hui Park, former president of South Korea put Korea's economy level a step higher, the happy planet index decreased dramatically from the years before due to probably new laws and changes in the economy of South Korea. Than when the new education system hit the face of the Korean students, the happy planet index decreased once more due to probably too much work that students must do. By 1980, only 41% of South Korea was happy with their lives. The population of South Korea than was approximately 48,000,000, so in total, only 19,680,000 were happy with their lives. The puzzle matches. The solution that has been made in 1980 has increased higher education, but has also increased the stress of all students and reduced the happy planet index of South Korea. Personally, I strongly believe students should be able to share their ideas with teachers, fellow students and friends to develop their self-thinking abilities and expand the size of their knowledge.

The Jewish students are known to be one of the most intelligent religious students in the world. There are libraries all around the world specifically built only for the Jewish community where they share, argue and develop their ideas and thoughts with any other Jewish person in the library. Fights occur sometimes due to too much arguing. Albert Einstein, Carl Sagan and many other intelligent people were Jewish. I believe the Korean Ministry of Education should adopt this kind of method and apply it to every school in Korea. The president of the U.S.A, Barrack Obama is known to deeply respect the Korean Education system and made 5 speeches around renowned universities and colleges around the U.S about it. He has said that "That's no way to prepare them for a 21st-century economy." about the U.S's education system compared to the Korean education system. He is mistaken. This form of education should be corrected immediately and will just limit the students' abilities to be one step far ahead of students they will encounter who comes from more economically developed countries (MEDC)s in this mad economy of the 21st-century. All of us, the members of Korean society needs to be aware of the serious situation of Korean education system and encourage the Korean government and the Korean Ministry of Education to actually offer the students a decent and practical education that will help students to develop themselves, not only being trained by teachers and others. This concludes my speech, thank you.

Some places get so much Spit, that rivers hit into the streets. Driving can be tricky when this happens, so some people put special Agent oragnes on their cars.

Reflective SAT Writing on "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring"

First of all, i personally believe in heart that the lesson that the master monk gave the child was the right and would a memorable lesson to him. The child started causing the problem by tying strings to different animals which includes small fish, toad and a snake to stone so that these animals won't be able to move freely. The child tortured these animals just for the sake of his fun and entertainment. After the master found out about the serious problems he has caused, it was already too late for the child to save all animals and be forgiven easily.

The master monk's solution on teaching him the lesson of the importance of life, lesson of being in someone else's shoes and that lives are not to be played with just for the purpose of fun or entertainment regardless of the size was absolutely respectful. As the child tied heavy rocks on the backs of animals, the master monk tied a heavy rock on the child's back. The monk said "If you don't release all the animals or if any one of them are dead, you will carry that rock in your heart for the rest of your life". I strongly support what the master monk said because i, myself experience a very similar situation.

When i was 6 years old and when to the beach with my family relatives, my father taught me a deep lesson. I got bored and tired so i wanted to go play or interact with something. Kids at the age around 5 loves to have fun by seeing someone being hurt or even tortured. I tied a string on a crab's back which i believe was a lot heavier than its weight. I believe the crab drowned in the shore of the ocean as the waves took the poor crab into the ocean. Everytime the images appear on my head of that tragic day, i feel like suddenly like i have been literally stabbed in the back. My father's solution on my extremly horrible behaviour was that he put my brother (HEAVY) on my back and put me on the place of the beach where the waves reached and where it hit my face. I still remember the clear taste of the salt in the water because i may have drank nearly half a liter of ocean water!

Chain-Writing

This creative essay is literally creative! It is featured within great and silly writings and filled with different ideas that will just crack you up. This essay is practically focused on the talk of toilets. It states the usage of toilets, how-tos, tips of awaring the dangers of public toilets and miraculous change atthe end of the essay!

"Toilet is a place where you complain about your unsatisfied life and forgive other peple. In my opinion, toilet is one of the most butiful place in the whole universe. In toilets, you can feel satisfaction you didn't before in your life by massive egestion and relaxation. Life is the most unfair thing,m but you can blame that to someone to another peple inyour own sectioned place.

As you steop in to a toilet , lock the door and combersome noise from the word and dissapear instantly. Howerver, public toilets may stin a lot. So you must always go in your own bathroom or check if the public toilets stinks. After you seat in a toilet, you talkabout people who you hate or play mobile games. Make sure you know who is seating next to you because that person muiight be the one ou are talking about. One more tip when tou are going to the bathroom is to bring issues. If ty you forgot to bring it, you are in a disasterous situation. Just don't forget ot bring you toilet paper with oyu.

This is enought for some tios, and i want to talk more about timings you need to be aware of while using bathroom. When you have a visitor at your place, it's very rude to spend a lot of time in your bathroom. a mute or 2 is adequate. You have to make your bathroom clean as well because the visitor might go in there.

Bathrooms can be big or small. It contains toilet, bathub and etc...

The teacher threw down the essay in disgust. No, it wasn't even worthy of the name "essay". The teacher shouted "who wrote this"?
She looked at the name at the top of the page. Jeniiger David duck. "Of course", she thougt and signed. "Who else?" the teacher said.
She was tired of having "little talks" with Jeniiger. She lokked sorry every time, but every time she would do it again, her obsession with toilets was impossible to keep it quiet. She sighed again. She had to do something soon.

Note to reader: The writers of the essay (?) - that is, all except for one-are verry sorry for creating such a horried pieceof writing. This exerice was chain - writing and a boy (whose name i will not reveal) started the essay in such a way. Again we are very sorry. I, the final writer, found it impossible to continue and changed it at the end.

Overall, i am pretty satisfied with the hard work and the effort put in this essay. Also, the contents in this essays is "different" and also creative! And being creative and writing different ideas in this essay was the goal for this essay so i believe this essay was a sucess according to the criterias given. Confidentally, if i was a teacher and was to grade this essay, i would give it an A.
What do you think? Please leave comments below...Thank you~~ :)
